A one-of-one card pairing Michael Jordan's and Kobe Bryant's on-court autographs sold for $12.9 million on August 24, 2025, at Heritage Auctions' Summer Platinum Night Sports Auction — the highest price ever paid for a sports card.
The card is a 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logoman Autograph: signatures from both players on-card, alongside game-worn NBA "Logoman" patches. It's graded PSA 6 — a modest grade by hobby standards, underscoring just how much a card's rarity and story can outweigh raw condition.
The sale broke the previous all-time sports card record of $12.6 million, set in 2022 by a mint-condition 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle. According to Heritage's Chris Ivy, the card is believed to be the only one in existence pairing both players' signatures, a distinction that's only grown since Bryant's death in 2020.
It's a striking echo of a smaller but similar story: a Larry Bird/Magic Johnson dual Logoman card from the same Exquisite Collection lineage sold for $432,000 just last September — itself more than double its price from nine months earlier. Dual-autograph Logoman cards pairing all-time rivals have become some of the hobby's single most valuable objects.
